Together Forever

Saturday was the best day yet. We were sealed as a family for Time and all Eternity, in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. The whole day was incredible. At 12:00 pm was our sealing. My grandpa was able to perform the sealing. The words he spoke touched everyone in the room. The spirit has never felt so strong, and the veil seemed so thin. Brock did great during the sealing. When he came into the room he was glowing and looked so precious. We could not stop smiling. Cali was able to hold Brock during the sealing. That was a whole other spiritual experience. It was the first time the family was in the Temple sense the passing of baby Mac. It was amazing. We all new he was there. The love we felt from the Savior was very comforting. After the sealing we went back to our home for the blessing of Brock. Randy performed the blessing, and did amazing. We are very blessed to have such a sweet little boy. This was such a joyful day. Being in the Temple to feel close to the Savior. To be apart of this sacred ordinance. To have all of our family and friends there with us, they showed us there love a support. It meant so much to us and is a great blessing. We are truly happy to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.

We can not go with out thanking Brock's birth-parents. You are truly amazing!! Thank you.

Our sleeping boy

This is how Brock sleeps every night. I love to go look at him right before I go to bed. I always start him on his back and in the middle of the bed, by morning he is squished up in the corner like this. He looks so uncomfortable to me. I guess if he didn't like it he would wake up or cry. He does sleep peaceful though. He sleeps about 10 hours. Yeah!! I can't argue with that.

Terrific Tuesday at The Legacy Center in Lehi

Brock absolutely loves the water! When you hold him in the water his legs start to move like he is treading the water. He is totally going to be a swimmer. This is a great place to go for all ages. We had a lot of fun. It completely wore Brock out. He came home and took a 3 hour nape. Gotta love that!

Our finalization

We are officially parents! We made it through the 6 month waiting period. Yeah!! Today at 10:00 am we went the the Provo Justice Court to sign the final documents for our adoption. Our case-worker, Hailey and our lawyer, Todd Wahlquist were so organized. It went so smooth and quick. I have never been into a court room of any kind before. It was neat to see how it all works. We are very thankful to everyone that made this all happen. We will never forget this day. We are excited for this Saturday the 26th, we will be sealed as a family for Time and all Eternity in the Mt. Timpanogoous Temple.

The Bee's game

This is a late post. Better late then never! Last Thursday we were invited by Kent (Randy's boss) to go the the Bee's game, and sit in one of the "owner's boxes". We have never done that before. We felt so cool! When we walked in the room there was food everywhere. Chicken fingers, fruit tray, turkey rolls, drinks and more. It was delicious. Thank you Kent for the relaxing evening. We needed it. F.Y.I.- The Bee's won that night.

How many animals have you found in your garage?

We have lived in our new home for 7 months. In those 7 months we have had 2 birds and 1 mink find there way into our garage. What is the deal? Do we stink or something? We have to keep the garage doors open, so the animals can find there way out. Sometime it takes days. It has been fun to guess what animal will venture it's way into our garage.

I can do it!

Our little Brock is sitting all by himself!! One day he can't sit the next day he can. It is so cool how all of the sudden it clicks in there little brains.
The other day I thought we would try something new and go for a walk in this push car instead of the stroller. He absolutely loved it. We go for a walk in it about 3 to 4 times a day. Thanks to Granny Goose for all of the fun things she has bought for the grand kids!

Terrific Tuesday at Liberty Park

Today we decided to venture over to Liberty Park. Granny Goose, Erin & Bryson, Zyan & Chazz, Cali, and Brock & I all went.

Our first stop was the sprinkler park, if you can call it that. Thank goodness for a little water in this hot weather.

Brock loooves Cali! It was fun to have Cali there with us today. It has been a blessing for me to be with her over the past few weeks. She has taught me so much, in such a little time. She makes me happy when I'm are around her. She glows!

We had a picnic by the Seven Canyon water area. The kids wanted to play in it, but it was closed due to mechanical problems.

Last but not least we stopped by the Tracy Aviary. The flamingos was my favorite part. I could have watched them for hours.

Brock is nothing but smiles, I love it!!

Why?

I wanted to share one of Erin's (my sister) posts with you (click here). In it she talks about our nephew Mckallister, and when people ask any of us about Mac the first question is "why this?" and "why that?" Our whole family went through all the "whys" as well. I am glad Erin felt inspired to share her feelings about what we as a family are going through. I think it is safe to say she is speaking for all of us.

OUR TRIP TO BURLEY, IDAHO

About 2 weekends ago, we went to visit Grandpa and Grandma up in Burley, Idaho for a late Father's Day. We had a great time visiting with them. Randy loves to ride his dad's 4-wheeler, and lawn mowers around their property, while I stayed and visited with Linda. We talked about how men are kids at heart and never seem to grow up. Randy fits that to a T. He is up to do anything that can get him dirty. Brock is going to love that.
Burley is a small town. It is very peaceful and quiet. It made my ears hurt, it was so quiet. We plan to make it up their more frequent. Thanks for the great time DAD & LINDA!!
