Terrific Tuesday at Discovery Gateway

This place is Awesome!! I remember going to the Children's Museum when I was little and how I loved it. Brock had a great time. At the end he was a bit overwhelmed with everything to do. I think next year will be a blast for him. (Don't mind the milk goatee!, I totally didn't even know:) oops!

Brock has learned how to go up stairs. Now we need to work on going down.

Hiking to the Y

My sister Erin and I decided on Tuesday that we would hike to the Y. She told me it is a great workout. Well, it is. It is an hour up hill, the whole way. If you think your in shape I challenge you to go and hike it, also adding 22 lbs. on your back. I got so dizzy and thought I was going to pass out at one point. Thanks to Erin and myself telling me to keep going. I made it! It totally kicked my HARSE!!!, but totally worth it. The view is incredible!

When we got to the top Brock was dying to get down to explore. What can I say, he loves to crawl. Sorry to all of the BYU fans about the Red, I was not thinking.

On the way down Brock couldn't take it any more. Poor little guy. He did great though.

At the beginning of August I entered my salon in a photo contest at CCI Beauty. I bought all of my equipment there, so I was eligible to enter in the contest. I thought I would just do it for fun and see what happens. When it comes to me winning anything I seem to have bad luck. Not this time. I won 3rd place and $150.00 towards my next purchase. One puppy :(

Our Lexie is pregnant again. This time there is only 1 puppy. :( Her first litter she had 7 and 3 died at birth. The next time we bred her, it didn't take. So this time we thought for sure there would be a big litter. We did 2 ultra sounds and a x-ray and still 1 puppy. It is sad because she is such a great mother. We are excited though. The puppy should be born on Thursday. It will be fun to see how big the puppy is because Lexie ate like a horse during her pregnancy....Wait she is a horse.

Our trip to Cedar City

Last weekend we headed off to Cedar to see our newest brother-in-law Abbel, play his first home game against Adam's State. Before the game we went into Zion National Park and went on a few hiking trails. Boy, It was sure beautiful!! It was also very hot. We hiked one trail that was 1/2 mile and decided to go on a second hike that was 4 miles but only made it 1/8 of the way. We must be getting to old.

The Thunderbirds played an incredible game against Adam's State. SUU killed them. The final score was 38-10. Abbel did so good, #80. For being a Freshman he sure does play a lot. His position is tight-end. (what ever that means?) I am sure it is a cool position to be in. Abbel looked great in his uniform. He looked huge out there on the field. Not fat but huge! Good Luck Abbel to the rest of the season!!! We are hoping we can come down a couple more times before the season ends. We had a blast!!

It's been 10 years

Mine and Randy's High School 10 year reunion was on Saturday Aug. 30, 2008. We both went to Granger High School and graduated in 1998. I can't believe how time passes. Everyone there looked the same to me. It is nice to kill two bee's with one stone. To see our awesome reunion click here.

Who's your daddy?

On Sunday we had Randy's family over. Randy's mom was running a little late so we decided to ex-change Brock's and Kailee's (Brock's cousin) clothes and see if Grandma would notice. She walked in and sat at the dinner table and we thought she didn't notice. But she did. She asked Brock "what do you have on your head?" It was a lot of fun and some good laughs. We hope Brock and Kailee aren't affected by it.

Handsome Kailee. She is so sweet. Randy nick-named her GUMBY. She always goes limp when Randy picks her up. It is fun to see them together.
