IT'S TIME TO EAT

Brock is like a time clock. He wants to be fed every 2 to 3 hours on the dot. He is up to drinking 2 oz. What a good eater.

After eating and a diaper change he has no problem falling fast to sleep. So sweet.

WE'VE BEEN CHOSEN!!

It all started with a phone call from my older brother Jake, who lives in Tucson, Arizona. He called and mentioned that one of his former students is pregnant and is thinking about placing her baby boy up for adoption. He asked, "would you be interested"? We did not hesitate to respond, and said yes. We called Heather on the phone and spoke with her several times. She really wanted to meet us before the baby was born. So we took a trip down right before Christmas to meet her and David. We all were so nervous to meet. We decided to meet at a local restaurant in Tucson. Randy and I arrived before they did. We had no idea who to look for, we had never seen pictures of them. With every guest approaching the door, Randy and I would whisper to one another and say "is that them"? Soon they arrived, and as soon as we saw them we knew it was them. Dinner went very smoothly. It was so fun meet and to get to know one another. Heather and David invited us to there home the next day to have dinner. Heathers whole family was there. What a fun and loving family.

Our Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways. We know he had a hand in Heather and David Decision to choose us. We will ever be grateful for them both. They have been the answer to our prayers. Thank You.

Meeting Brock Kylen Mellor

Brock Kylen Mellor (Kylen was choosen by Brocks birth-mother Heather) was born on January 15, 2008 at 11:47 am, in Tucson Arizona. He weighed 8lbs 3oz 201/2 in. long. Randy and I were awakened at 6:30 am by my sister-in-law Michelle, on the phone telling us Heather was in labor. We both turned to each other and said "this is it". 1/2 hour later we were on our way to Tucson. It takes about 12 hours drive time. We were so hoping to get there before Brock was born, but we did not make it. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and went straight to the hospital.

New Years Eve!

Happy New Year!!! This year for new years, we hung out with the family at Fat Cats. We played 3 games of bowling. Girls against boys. I never realized how good of a bowler Randy is. He was getting strikes and spares right and left. It was fun to hang out with the family. We had a blast! We are excited to see what this New Year will bring.

The update on our house...

We finally got the Stucco and the Rock on.

My brother Zack, came and surprised us with his talent in laying down the hardwood floor.

Chazz and Zyan came to help too. Chazz brought his cars, and we had fun making a race track out of the hardwood floor scraps.

Our good friend Jeff. Boy, What a BIG help he has been.

For Time and all Eternity.

On October 16, 2007, my nephew was sealed to his parents in the Provo Temple for Time and All Eternity. It was such a special day.

Bryson was adopted by my sister and brother-in-law back in March. For legal reasons, they had to wait to have him sealed and blessed when he reached 6 months of age.

What a joy Bryson has been for our whole family. We are so blessed to know that through our Heavenly Fathers Plan, we can be with our families for Time and all Eternity.
