GOT DIRT?

Brock has all the dirt he could possibly eat, and boy does he know how to eat it. We have been working really hard in our yard to whip it into shape this year. Brock loves to be outside in the dirt. Every time I turn around Brock has a mouth full of dirt in his mouth. I wondered how much he really eats? I find out next day when it comes out the other end....All I can say is that it is a lot and SOOOO SICK!!! He is TOTAL boy. I love a boy that gets dirty, because the best part is getting them clean. Lucky for me I have 2 of them.

Recap

Now that Brock is getting older, he is becoming a little more daring. Trying new things, getting in new things etc. One night he had a hay day in the laundry basket.
It is somewhat getting warmer, so we venture out the the parks a lot more. He loves to run in the grass and I love to chase him.

The park aerated the lawn. He thought the dirt clods where cookies, I could not keep them out of his mouth. Yummy.

This is his famous smile. He loves showing his Chic-lets. Aren't they cute?

Daddy loves pushing Brock fast in the car. Randy is a great big kid at heart.

Anything that looks like a sippy Brock tries to drink out of it. I wonder if he liked the mustard? :)

Welcome Baby Zoey!!

The wait is over!, to hear what the sex is of Zack (my brother) & Heather's 3rd child. IT'S A GIRL!!! What an incredible day to see this new life come and join our family. There were lots of emotions through-out the day. Heather delivered at the NEW Hospital on 5300 so. State. The last time we were there was the day Baby Mac was stillborn. Memories flooded my mind of that day on June 27th, as we waited in the same waiting area. I couldn't help but think.. "Why was Zoey here to stay and Baby Mac returned home?" In my heart I know he was asked to do a special mission for our Heavenly Father and I know he went home for a reason. We won't Really understand why until the day comes when we return home to our Heavenly Father. The lesson's I have learned through Mac I am so grateful for and would never change.
As I entered the room to see Zoey I could feel the love of our Savior and of Baby Mac. Zoey is going to be a special little girl to all of us. I welcome her with open arms. I am grateful to know of the Plan of Salvation. Families will be together FOREVER.

Aunt Erin, brother Chazz and sister Zyan to the baby, and cousin's waiting for the news.
Welcome Baby Zoey!!
Zoey was born on Monday, February 23 at around 8:00 am. She weighed a whopping 9 lbs. Beautiful little girl. Congratulations Zack & Heather!!!

Terrific Tuesday with Granny Goose

This week we decided to go and visit my mom at her school. She is a 2ND Grade teacher and is excellent at it. We saw her classroom and the rest of the school as we walked to get lunch in the cafeteria. It was fun to see mom in action.

After we stopped by at Granny Gooses home to talk and hang out. I love sitting back and watching Bryson and Brock play. They have so much fun together.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub, a Duck in the Tub

Off the Bottle

Brock is off the BOTTLE!!! We decided on the "cold turkey" method. We tried the method with his Binky and it worked, so we thought lets try it again. And guess what? IT WORKED!! He hasn't had a bottle in a week. It's been hard for him not having the continuous flow of the bottle, but he is getting used to it. It was weird, in my mind he wasn't ready, but he was.
Brock turning one totally WEIRDED ME out. I need to get over it and realize he is not going to be a baby forever. Now comes the teaching and the discipline part. I am not going to lie, I am a little nervous. I hope and pray I do things right. So, if I ask any of YOU as a parent millions of questions, you will understand why I am asking them. I know it will be OK. I just really want to be the best mom to Brock.
