What's up with the Mellor's?

It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

Randy has been totally obsessed with our Jeep. He is out in the garage every night dreaming about what he wants to buy for our, no wait "my" Jeep. It is fun to watch him get so excited about accessories for the Jeep. He is like a kid in a candy store. He has been working on a couple of side jobs at night and with his earnings he purchased new bumpers for the Jeep. So here are the before and after. Don't tell him, but I really like them:)

BRODY'S 15 MONTH CHECK-UP

Brody is turning into a little boy, sniff, sniff. Just over the last month I can totally see the growth in him. He has thinned out a little and is in 2T clothes. He grew 2 in. in the last 3 months! Here are his stats:

Height: 31.5 in. (61%)

Weight: 27 lbs. (94%)

Head Cir: 19 in. (86%)

Brody is loving playing with Brock and his cousin's. He is trying to talk. He is such a delight.

PLAYTIME

These two boys are the best! It is a joy for me to watch them play, tackle, laugh, and fight together. They love each other so much. It's been great weather to play a little outside. Brody got to ride in Brock's monster truck for the first time and absolutely loved it. In a few months we will teach him how to drive.

FUN FRIDAY'S.

We have started up Fun Friday's and last Friday we went to The Living Planet Aquarium. It was great. They have improved and re-modeled a little which made it 10 times better than the last time we went.

This shows how silly of a kid Brock is. He is pre-tending to be dead by being hung. I don't know why, but he loves anything dead and bloody. Silly boy, who brings a smile every day to my face.

That is what we have been up to lately. I did leave out us all being sick for 2 weeks with the strep virus. That speaks for it's self. Not Fun! We are all well and happy and excited for the warm weather.

Brody is a busy boy. He loves to run, climb, open doors, read books, watch Baby Einstein and help mommy. He is a fast learner. He knows where his nose and ears are. He can say nana (banana), mama, dada, and I swear today he said ball. He knows a little sign language that I taught him. In sign he can say...more and eat, which has come in very handy. He loves to put things in the garbage, so if it's missing that is where I look first. Brody loves to be around people and knows what he wants. He is an awesome little boy that we just love so much.

The Pass of all Passes

We have been spending a lot of time at Trafalga Fun Center, due to The Pass of all Passes. The kids just love it. Trafalga has arcades, climbing wall, lazar tag, mini golf, rides, jungle play land, food, and prizes. It is well worth the money! The pass offers unlimited entrance to Seven Peaks Water Parks, Trafalga, Owlz Games, Flash Games and much more.... for a whole year! We are excited for summer! We are going to live at Seven Peaks!

Quick Trip to Lava Hot Springs

Do you think it's crazy to go swimming outdoors in the middle of winter? We don't, not at

Lava Hot Springs. We had so much fun, especially the boys. Good times!

They are both on their way to becoming ALL-STARS!

Happy 4th Birthday Brock!

He had a great Birthday! Sense he was turning 4 we told him he could invite 4 friends. He chose cousin Bryson, cousin Kailee, long friend Blake, and Riley (next door neighbor). And one snuck into the party. shhh! His party started at 1:00pm Saturday. We headed to Kangaroo Zoo in PG. No photos sorry, dumb me forgot the camera:( We then came back to the house for cake and ice cream and most important the PRESENTS!


He scored big time! He got silly putty, awesome blue light saber, suitcase for sleep-overs, clothes, monster bus, candy, gum, remote-control 4x4, a game, and I am sure I forgot a few.

Riley wasn't able to make it, so this is all who attended. Do you know which one snuck in?

Brock picked this batman cake. Good thing he can't read, because that day he was Brook. haha

We sang the Happy Birthday song and he couldn't wait to blow out the candles. That's his favorite part. He actually blew early.

There is this game called "What's in Ned's head?" I saw in a toy magazine. I had to get it for him. You pull unbelievable stuff out of his head from, spiders, to brains, to tongues. Brock loves that kind of stuff. It was a big hit!

We knew he had a fun field day when he fell asleep in his toy room around 5 o'clock. We are so proud of him and love him more every day. Thanks for being the coolest boy Brock, and for being you. We love you!

It's Brody's Birthday! He turned 1 on the 8th! This past year has been so wonderful. It seemed like yesterday when Mommy Chanel announced that she wanted Brody apart of our family. We were in SHOCK, but very excited. We will never forget the spirit we felt that night, testifying to us that Chanel's decision was the right decision. We are so blessed to be the ones to watch this little baby boy grow and develop perfectly. Brody brings such a sweet peace into our home. He makes us smile every day with his determined personality.
We had such a blast the night of his party. We were surrounded by family and friends who have supported us through both adoptions. We are so grateful for everyone who came. Brody is loving all the fun gifts. THANK YOU! To all of you who couldn't make it, we put together a video of the events that took place that day. Enjoy.

Never A Dull Moment

Do you recognize who this is? This is the Phantom. He walks around our house now and again hoping someone won't see his scar behind the mask (tape). Brock loves playing different characters, from super hero's to villains. We never know who he is going to be. He loves to pretend he's Batman, Darth Vader, The Phantom, Astro Boy, Spider Man, and the scary man in Home Alone with the black boots and shovel. He is always willing to save the day.

Not the greatest picture, but I just had to show you my LONG hair! I can't believe I did it. I grew it out. It only took me 10 years. haha
