Brock's Christmas Program

Brock was the lead part.  He was Santa, his part was  "who is the man with the long white beard?"

To shy to do the actions.

Brock and Santa.  I hope he was a good boy this year?
Mellor Sub for Santa

Every year before Christmas we meet at Uncle Darrin's for dinner and to deliver our Sub for Santa gifts.  What a great gift it is for me to be apart of this.  I love it!  This is what Christmas is all about. Helping those less fortunate.  And it's always fun to be around these three.

Is it time to Eat!  The awesome chef Uncle Darrin.

Can we get a little more Cheese please?

These two.  What can I say?  Try to get a long it's Christmas.

Christmas Eve
Some of my cute nieces and nephews in their new PJ'S.  Sooo Cute!  Thank you G & G Hink!

Christmas Day
I think I was more excited then the boys.  I was the first one awake.  I turned music on and waited patiently on the couch.  Finally they both woke up.  Brock in a good mood, Brody not.  Our boys are at the funnest ages.  I just sat back and watched their excitement. This is what parenthood is all about.  I love it.  I am so grateful.

Lots of fun surprises in the stockings.  My favorite thing to shop for.

Brody trying to get in a good mood.

Brock Loving it!

Here we go! Wahoo!

 Merry Christmas!
Sledding
The snow has been awesome this year!  We have enjoyed time together on sleds "MELLOR STYLE".

 Potty Training

Brody in his big boy undies!

Brody gathering all his diapers to throw away.

Bye-Bye diapers!

We decided to potty train Brody.  Crazy!....I know!  He just turned 2.  We did the 3 day potty training method.  I forgot that it takes a lot of patience.  I don't think I prepared myself enough for it.  Yes...I did have a melt down and had to leave for a few hours. I wanted to quit, but Randy assured me that it would be ok and he will get it.  Us Mellor's do not quit!  So here we are a week later and Brody is finally getting it.  We will not give up.  Good job Brody! You're doing it!  Now if he could just poop in the potty.  If you have any ideas please let me know:)

Brody Turns The BIG 2

Our little Brody is 2!  We can't believe it.  He is the sweetest boy you will ever meet.  He loves life and loves to be around people.  He is showing a little sense of humor. He is such a delight.  Because our families are so big, we did 3 small parties for him.  On his real Birthday December 8th we thought it would be special  to have his birth family over.  I thought is was awesome!

Brody enjoying all the attention and the presents.

Brody has the best birth mom ever!  We are so grateful to Chanel for the relationship we have with her.  Brody is very lucky to have her.

Randy and I were so excited for his present from us.  This little bike it called the Strider.  It has no pedals.  Brody will have to learn to balance and use his legs for momentum.  He has loved it, but needs a little more practice..  Happy Birthday buddy!

Brody with his Grandma Bobbi!  Brody is lucky to have her as a Grandma. Of course she had to spoil the little dude.:)  We are so grateful to her,  for the love she has for Brody.

The one and only Aunt Chelbie.  She is wild and crazy!  Brody just loves her.

Mommy Chanel & Chris.  So stinkin' cute! We are thankful Chanel met such a great guy.  Chris has always been so supportive of Chanel & Brody's relationship.  We love him for that.

Blowing out the candles.  Ouch!  I burnt my lip!

One awesome family we get to share many great MEMORIES with. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRODY! WE ALL LOVE YOU!  .

Date Night with Granny Goose

Brock and I getting ready to leave on our date night. I can't argue about hanging out with this stud.

We received a invite in the mail from Granny Goose inviting us to see the Nutcracker.  When we got there all of Brock's cousin's where there (3 and older) with their moms, along with Granny.  It was a delight for me to be there.  Brock picked out his very own Nutcracker to bring home.

This was one of the scenes in the play.  I found myself watching Brock more then the play.  It was fun for me to see his re-action. Brock loved all the sword fighting between these mice.

Brock and his cousin's.  Thank You Granny Goose!  We had a great time!

Make'em EARN it...

We have been struggling with Brock listening and doing what we (or any adult for that matter) ask of him.  So my awesome sister Erin made these charts for Brock. She has been doing this with her son Bryson and has had success, so I thought I would give it a try.

As you can see he has earned his first dollar.  It has made a huge difference.  He is proud of himself when he makes that good choice of listening, as are we:)  So in 6 weeks it should become a habit right?  Thank you Erin for the great idea!

let it snow, Let It Snow, LET IT SNOW!

I have been dying for 2 years  to build a snowman with my 3  boys.  It finally snowed enough for us to build one.  I don't know why, but Lehi never seems to get a lot of snow.  We were all so excited!  Brock rolled all the balls himself.  Brody loved running and eating the snow.  Randy constructed it.  Then the final touches to make FROSTY come to life.  It was awesome! We even had an audience. Granny and Grandpa Hink surprised us with a visit.  Fun times and Great memories.

A Time of Thanks

I love Thanksgiving. I have so much to be Thankful for and I would like to share a few of them with you.  I am Thankful for my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and for his atoning sacrifice. I am not perfect, I have my flaws. He makes it possible for me to renew myself and become a better person.  I would be lost with out him.  I am Thankful for my little family.  They are my world. Our Trip to Arizona

This last weekend we ventured down to Arizona for 3 reasons.  To meet Grandma Marge, to see Mommy Heather, and to attend a baby blessing of a good friend.  It was an unforgettable trip.  Lots of love and laughter.  Here are a few moments of our trip.

We had the great opportunity to meet Daddy David's Grandma Marge. That would make her a great Grandma to Brock.  We had an amazing visit with her and Aunt Haley.  I have been pen pals with Grandma Marge for 4 years, so it was pretty awesome for me to meet her and Hayley.  She spoils Brock to death.  Sending cards, money, gifts.  She is so thoughtful to do what she does.  It means a lot to us and I know it will mean a lot to Brock when he can truly understands adoption. Thank you Grandma and Hayley for the wonderful visit.  We loved it!

Our child hood friend Ryan also lives in Arizona, so we were able to visit with him and his cute kids.  Ryan and Brooke took us to the Zoo.  The kids loved it!

Brock always has something in his mouth.  haha

Brody cheesin' it!

I love this picture! Randy and his best friend Ryan.  Thank you Ryan and Brooke for the fun visit.  Randy is still mad about Monopoly. haha

TrIcK or TrEaT

In past Halloween's we would venture to my brother's house for the trick or treating. Now that our boys are older they,( or should I say we)  want to be home.  So at home we stayed.  As you can see Brock was SUPERMAN and Brody a TIGER grrr.  They were excited for it to get dark, so they could GET CANDY.  I stayed back to pass out candy while Randy took the boys out.  Brock was done at like the 10th house.  Funny I know.  Little Brody caught on to the process of trick or treating.  Randy said he would grab fist fulls of candy at each house.  He came back with a ginormous loot of candy.  It was a fun night with just our little family.  Happy Halloween!
