Our Little Dracula
We love that his fangs came in before he front teeth. We just had to blog about it. Brody also got his first little black eye. Don't ask us where it came from because we have know idea? That is the worst part about being a parent so far, not knowing where all the bumps and bruises come from. What a tough and scary little boy! Maybe Count Dracula will pay us a visit on Halloween?...

Brody Unleashed
Our sweet Brody is 10 months old today. He has accomplished so much in the last month. Here are a few things he likes and doesn't like:Loves to eat anything found on the floor. I find myself sweeping a lot more.
No more binky! We took Brody's binky away at 8 months. We know that if you take it away sooner than later they forget about it more quickly. We know this because we did the same with Brock at 8 months. It was a piece of cake:)
Brody gets into everything! This is a bitter/sweet stage. His favorite our my toiletries. Brock loved them too! Why oh why? This picture may come in handy one day. haha He loves our closet with all the shoes. He pulls them down one by one until there is a big mountain of them on the floor, then he moves on to the next thing.

Welcome Home Corbin!
Last night we had the opportunity to go to the airport to welcome home our nephew, Corbin. He has been serving the Lord for 2 years in the Seattle, Washington mission. He had a wonderful experience and he certainly came home a man. Corbin is a great example to us, of what true happiness is. He is always smiling and happy. He will do what ever you ask him to do, with no complaining or hesitation. He loves doing the Lord's work. We are happy to have him home safe and sound.
Here he comes! With that same smile and all.
Brock was so excited about the balloons and the snickers candy bar attached to the bottom. He so badly wanted to eat the snickers. I told him it was for Corbin. A few moments later he came over and asked, "when I come home off my mission, do I get balloons with a snickers?" I said you certainly do. I got a little teary eyed knowing that one day our boys will hopefully serve missions. It's great to see that Corbin's example is teaching and helping them.
